Belvedere Inn Wedding – Saugatuck, MI

The Belvedere Inn in Saugatuck, MI is a wonderful gem for an outdoor wedding.  The well-manicured lawn and gardens make a beautiful setting for many types of weddings.  Chris and Sarah’s day was elegant and abounded with florals and other great touches to make it personal to them.

The staircase in the historic inn was the perfect setting for the first look between Sarah and Chris.  Chris told me that all the anxiousness faded away once he saw his bride.  Sarah’s tender response to his tears was such a sweet moment shared by the two of them.

A bubble exit after the ceremony was a fun way to send the couple off to their drive in Sarah’s Dad’s audi…though they only made it a couple hundred feet before getting stuck by low hanging branches in the parking area.  Chris didn’t want to scratch up his new Father-in-Law’s car!

Lots of family and friends joined for the ceremony on the lawn and the reception that followed under the large tent.  Though it was very HOT, the dance floor was full the entire evening.  A big thanks to Moments in Time DJ for keeping the party going!

The cake was done by Holland Cakery and was one of the most beautiful ones that our team saw this season.  It even held up really well in the extreme heat!

We worked along side of Inkling Pictures all day. Their team took care of video and it was a pleasure to work in such continuity throughout the day.  It’s not something we take for granted.

Both Shaun and Pete of The Belvedere were integral in making the day go smoothly.  The coordinator, Rachel, from White Dress Events was a pleasure to work with…as always.  Rachael was one of the main reasons we were able to get the amazing end of night shot! (and I know she was a great help to Barb, Sarah’s mom, in the days heading up to the wedding).
