Grand Haven State Park Engagement – Grand Haven Pier

Epic Sunset was the Reward

Katie and Mitch traveled across the state for their engagement session at the picturesque Grand Haven, Michigan State Park.  It a cool fall day but we were rewarded with the most epic sunset I’ve seen in a while! 

Their session began in the quaint little park in the middle of town, Central Park. It’s manicured grounds and center fountain always make for great portraits. Then we went to the state park.  The clouds always make a sunset better the the roiling waves and vivid colors just added to the scenery.  Braving the cold and sometime the waves was well worth it in my opinion!  What do you think?  Can you imagine your engagement photos on the beach, too?
