Hofma Park Engagement – Grand Haven, MI

Summertime in the Woods

Emily and John are getting married next summer and I have the honor of being their photographer.  But first they wanted to celebrate their engagement with photos taken at the beautiful Hofma Park in Grand Haven, MI.  

The early evening session granted us lovely golden sunlight which shown ever so gently through Emily’s hair.  Their fun playfulness was shown in their willingness to play on the swings right along side children playing at the local park.  

It’s always great to see personalities and nuances of relationships show through during photo sessions.  John’s sweet demeanor towards Emily was wonderful to witness.  And the sparkle in her eye each time she looked at him showed me just how much she loves him.  <3  They’re gonna rock this marriage thing!
