Michelle doesn’t live around here but really wanted her senior photos taken in Grand Haven.  Who could blame her?  It’s such a great city!  Michelle has relatives nearby and has been to Grand Haven many times, including attending the widely attended Coast Guard Festival.

We started the shoot out at the Tri-Citites YMCA to make use of their outdoor basketball hoops for a shot or two in her basketball jersey.  Then we moved over to the Municipal Marina to allow for some wonderful shots with the water, boats and lovely sunshine.  While we were there we made use of the old Tri-Cities Historical Museum Building.  While they have since moved to a new location, the colors and texture of the old building are a popular backdrop in Grand Haven photos.

Finally, we went out to Grand Haven State Park to take photos on the pier and on the nearby beach and dunes.  The sunset was beautiful and the night was pleasantly warm so we were able to capture the essence of what makes Grand Haven so great.

Michelle was great fun to work with and she really made this photographers job super easy with her sparkling eyes and quick smile.  Thank you for coming out, Michelle!
