Silver Lake Sand Dunes Engagement

Kelsey and Jaden wanted to go to Silver Lake, MI for their engagement session and I was THRILLED! Kelsey’s family has a vacation place up there so there are a lot of memories tied to this fun vacation destination. I asked Kelsey to give us some information about the two of them. From the bride:
How did you two meet?
Jaden and I met on tinder while I was attending grand valley and he was living in Kalamazoo. Soon after, I moved to India for six months but we stayed in touch despite the major time difference. The weekend after I moved back, we went camping and have been inseparable ever since!
Tell us about the proposal!
On our trip to Peru, Jaden and I hiked up the mountain at Machu Picchu. My mom and little sister were taking pictures of us when suddenly he pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him. I had absolutely no idea! I was so surprised and, of course, I said yes. 🙂
Where will you be getting married?
we will be getting married on Lake Michigan at the Christian reformed conference grounds in grand haven and having our reception at the Grand Hall above Porto Bellos.
Tell us about the engagement session experience
Our engagement session was so much fun! Brenda made the awkwardness melt away and we LOVE our photos!
What are you most looking forward to about being married?
I’m looking forward to spending our life together, all of the adventures, laughter, and love.
