About the Venue

I chose the trillium because i heard nothing but good news about them. They were amazing. The food was delicious. Randy did an amazing job making sure everything was perfect. I had nothing to worry about on my wedding day.

About the Dress

My dress was one of a kind. It had pockets. And I LOVED that. It had a lot of subtle glitters in the underneath layer that the sun really made pop. I had a personal seamstress do a little adjusting with it. It originally was strapless and i had straps added to it.

About our traditions/fun activities

My grandpa passed away recently. He was a huge Red Cross fan. I had his favorite pin connected to my bouquet so he was with me when i walked down the isle. My husband and I are also huge Christians so we did a unity cross ceremony. It was an amazing way to seal our vows with the lord.

Brenda is AMAZING. She got every picture i wanted. She captured every moment so perfectly. I loved how she really tries to connect with her clients. I absolutely loved having her part of my wedding day. She really knows how to make the bride and groom feel special.

Most memorable moments

Right as my husband and I said our vows, a big clap of thunder hit. It was perfect timing, God’s creation. It gave such a huge meaning to that moment.

Our first look was another great memory. To see his face when it was just the two of us. It was more intimate and personal.

Advice for other couples

Don’t sweat the small stuff. You can plan for the day to be perfect but there’s always something that will happen. And if something unexpected happens, turn it into something great. We planned for sunshine and nothing but perfect weather. It rained and thundered during the ceremony, outdoor wedding. But we kept going. We laughed, we enjoyed, we accepted it. I wouldn’t have asked for a different day. I got the most beautiful pictures out of it, and some amazing memories.
